# Donations
**Dark Groom RO** is completely free-to-play, and donations help us maintain and improve the server by covering expenses such as:
* Dedicated server hosting
* DDoS protection
* Website and patch server maintenance
* Advertising and community growth
* Event rewards and future development
* Client updates and custom content production
Dark Groom RO uses **Cash Point Tickets** as the main donation currency.

* **$2 USD = 1 Cash Point Ticket**
* **1 Cash Point Ticket = 100 Cash Points**

New donors can receive a special bonus on their first donation.

### How It Works
When a player donates for the first time, they will receive an additional **+30% Cash Points** on top of their regular donation amount.

### Alternative Top-Up Process:
**Step 1 — Contact Staff (or use @**support in-game)
The player goes to the official Dark Groom RO Discord server `#submit-ticket` channel or uses `@support` in-game to request a donation transaction.
**Step 2 — Transaction Room**
A GM will recall the player to the official donation transaction room for processing.
**Step 3 — Payment**
The player sends the payment using one of the official payment methods approved by the staff team.
**Step 4 — Verification**
The player provides:
* Character Name
* Account Name
* Screenshot or proof of payment
Step 5 — Donation Reward
Once confirmed, the player receives the corresponding Cash Point Tickets.

**Step 6 — Enjoy the Rewards**
The player may now use the Cash Points in the donation shop (Cash Shop)  for costumes, consumables, cosmetics, and other available items.
