### Starting NPC
#### Secret Agent
The **Secret Agent** handles the Groom weapon progression system.
This NPC allows players to:
* Claim a Groom Tier 1 weapon
* Surrender a Groom Tier 1 weapon
* Receive a Groom's Ascension Seal
* Enter the Tier 2 Upgrade Trial
* Return the Groom's Ascension Seal if they change their mind

### Step 1: Claim a Groom Tier 1 Weapon
Players must first claim their **Groom Tier 1 Weapon** from the Secret Agent.
The weapon given depends on the player's current job.
#### Important Rules
* You can only claim one Groom Tier 1 weapon at a time.
* You cannot claim another Tier 1 weapon if you already have:
* A Groom Tier 1 weapon
* A Groom's Ascension Seal
* A Groom Tier 2 weapon
* Novice characters cannot claim a Tier 1 weapon yet.
* You must change into your first job before claiming.

### Step 2: Surrender Your Groom Tier 1 Weapon
To begin the Tier 2 path, speak to the **Secret Agent** and choose:
> I am here to surrender my Tier 1 weapon
The NPC will check if you have a valid Groom Tier 1 weapon.
If you surrender it, the weapon will be permanently deleted and you will receive:

### Groom's Ascension Seal
The **Groom's Ascension Seal** is proof that you have surrendered your Groom Tier 1 weapon and are ready to begin the Tier 2 weapon path.

| Groom's Ascension Seal | Required to enter the Tier 2 Upgrade Trial and exchange for a Tier 2 weapon |
#### Important
You cannot enter the Tier 2 Upgrade Trial without this seal.
If you do not have a Groom's Ascension Seal, the Secret Agent will tell you to surrender your Tier 1 weapon first.

### Changed Your Mind?
If you surrendered your Tier 1 weapon by mistake, you can return the seal.
Choose:
> Give back the seal. I want my Tier 1 weapon back
The NPC will:
1. Take back your Groom's Ascension Seal
2. Return the correct +7 Groom Tier 1 weapon for your job
The NPC will also remind you that you may not be ready for the Tier 2 path yet.

### Step 3: Obtain a Gold Medal
To enter the Tier 2 Upgrade Trial, you also need:

### Entry Rules
To enter the Tier 2 Upgrade Trial:
* You must have a Groom's Ascension Seal.
* You must have 1 Gold Medal.
* The Gold Medal will be consumed.
* The Groom's Ascension Seal will not be consumed when entering.
* The seal is used later for the Tier 2 weapon exchange.

### Trial Entry Announcement
When a player successfully enters the Tier 2 Upgrade Trial, the server will announce:
> \[Player Name] has entered the Groom Tier 2 Upgrade Trial and is ready to ascend their weapon!
This announcement means the player has already passed the entry requirements and is ready to proceed with Tier 2 weapon ascension.

## Step 5: Exchange for a Groom Tier 2 Weapon
Inside the Tier 2 Upgrade Trial area, players can exchange their:
