# Zeref Challenge

### What is Zeref Challenge? <a href="#what-is-boss-raid" id="what-is-boss-raid"></a>

Zeref Challenge is a special timed event where all eligible players team up on a dedicated map to defeat a powerful boss monster. By dealing damage to the boss, you earn Boss Raid Points (BR Points) which can be exchanged for valuable Eye of Zeref items and exclusive equipment.

Zeref Challenge runs on the following days:

* Monday
* Wednesday
* Friday
* Saturday

### How to join <a href="#how-to-join" id="how-to-join"></a>

* Find the Zeref Challenge NPC in Prontera at `/navi prontera 155/221` to participate.

  ### Requirements <a href="#requirements" id="requirements"></a>

  | Minimum Base Level | 50 and above                               |
  | Event Status       | Must be marked as **Open** in the NPC menu |
  | Boss HP            | 80,000,000 HP                              |
* ### Joining Steps <a href="#joining-steps" id="joining-steps"></a>
  1. Go to **Prontera** and talk to the **Zeref Challenge** NPC
  2. Choose **"Check Boss Raid status"** to see if the raid is **Open** or **Closed**
  3. If it is **Open** and you meet the level requirement, choose **"Proceed to Boss raid"** to be warped into the raid map

### During the raid <a href="#during-the-raid" id="during-the-raid"></a>

Once the event opens, the boss will spawn on the special Boss Raid map with limited time to defeat it. Global announcements will warn you when there are only 30 minutes, 1 minute, and the final seconds remaining.

### Strategy Tips <a href="#strategy-tips" id="strategy-tips"></a>

* Team up with other players and focus on the boss
* Stay on the raid map; teleports and warps are disabled
* Deal as much damage as you can before the time runs out

If the boss is defeated in time, the server records how much damage each player dealt and distributes BR Points based on performance. If the timer expires and the boss is still alive, the boss escapes and everyone is warped out without top-rank rewards for that run.

### Rewards and Rankings <a href="#rewards-and-rankings" id="rewards-and-rankings"></a>

### Earning BR Points <a href="#earning-br-points" id="earning-br-points"></a>

* Any player who reaches the minimum damage threshold earns **consolation BR Points**
* The top damage dealers receive **extra BR Points** based on their rank (Top 1, Top 2, Top 3, etc.)

### Exchanging BR Points <a href="#exchanging-br-points" id="exchanging-br-points"></a>

You can exchange your earned BR Points for Eye of Zeref items:

Use your Eye of Zeref to exchange for powerful Zeref Equipment pieces and complete the exclusive Zeref Set! Visit the exchange NPC to browse available equipment and build your collection.
